Made with just three ingredients, this chocolate banana smoothie is delicious and so easy to make! Enjoy it as a snack or whip it up to serve as a healthy dessert.
Ingredients
- 6 oz frozen banana (1 – 1.5 bananas)
- 3/4 cup milk of your choice (I usually use oat milk or almond milk)
- 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the frozen banana, milk of your choice, and unsweetened cocoa powder. Blend until thoroughly combined and no chunks of banana remain. If you find the smoothie a bit too thick, you can add in a little more milk until you reach your desired consistency.
- Pour into a glass and serve as desired.
Notes
- Sweetness Level: If you'd prefer a sweeter smoothie, feel free to add in some honey or maple syrup to taste.
- Protein: Want to add some additional protein to this smoothie? Add in some nut butter or swap the unsweetened cocoa powder for chocolate protein powder.
