    Tips for Making This Smoothie

Here are a few tips to get a perfect smoothie every time:

    • Freeze bananas ahead of time. Once I have ripe bananas, I like to cut them into chunks and store them in the freezer. By using frozen bananas, you don't have to use any ice in the smoothie. I love to always have bananas in my freezer so that I can make a smoothie whenever the craving hits.
    • Use whatever milk you prefer. I personally love to make this smoothie with almond milk or oat milk, but you can use whatever milk you prefer. Try out a few different options and see what you like best!
    • Add in honey or maple syrup to sweeten the smoothie if desired. I think the bananas add enough sweetness by themselves, but you can absolutely add in a sweetener like honey or maple syrup to enhance the flavor of the smoothie.

    Notes

    • To make the smoothie a bit sweeter, you can always add in a splash of maple syrup or even some sugar.
    • I always prefer to make this smoothie with almond milk, but you can use any milk of your choice.
    • Feel free to add in protein powder or any type of nut butter to pack some more protein into the smoothie!
